Scott follows just as slowly,letting his feet drag.He casts a look to the manager and hurrys slightly,because if eyes can murder,Scott may not be alive.

Rabbit stops after heading down a couple of stores, sitting on the edge of the wishing fountain. She kind of lost Scott--a bunch of people suddenly walked in, making a large crowd--and has decided to just stay put, let him find her. She glaces across the clear water to various people.

Scott eventually finds her through the fog of people.He approaches slowly,almost carefully,and sits beside her,but far enough away to keep from making her uncomfortable.

She laughs softly and turns to look at Scott. "So what brought you here today?" She has to ask. She's just naturally curious. Plush she feels the need to make some sort of conversation with this guy..

"Well that sounds like fun." Her voice is loaded with sarcasm.Still, she assumes it must be more fun than doing paperwork while everyone else is getting to do drug busts. No fun at all. She runs one hand through the cool, clear water.

She gives another soft laugh. "This place sucks.." She's not even sure why she came here. Maybe because she was sick of just being alone. She grimaces a little and looks away, then back at Scott, and starts to wonder why he followed her in the first place. Would he try to stop her if she tried to leave?

She gives a soft laugh. "Yeah...It's just there aren't many other places to go.." The movie theater now has a restraining order on her, because of how she harasses people in there, she doesn't feel like spending money to go look around the museum, and she can't exactly do sports.

"Ah..oh sure." he says just a hint of disappointment could be traced in his gruff but vulnerable voice.Hey,he hadn`t expected to see her here and he sure as hell didn`t expect he would talk to her.He figured she`d tell him when the kid was born,and he never see her,or it again.And hell he`d admit it,loudly in fact,that ,that was not what he wanted at all.He had a child for Pete's sake ! He wanted to know it and not have the poor kid grow up without a father.Have it have to ask on it`s birthdays,or when other kids brought their fathers in for career day " Why don`t I have a daddy ? Doesn`t he love me ?"

He stood as well,shifting on his feet to stretch his legs.He took one last lingering look upon her,storing it to memory."We wouldn`t want that." Tone was not accusing or rough,it was just there.He disappeared through the crowd.

But she doesn't want to call him. It would be too awkward, and she's not much of a phone person, anyway. She leaves the mall, deciding to find something--anything--to do.
