Scott shakes his head slowly,his mind finally turning back on.With a loud and slightly irritable sigh he picks up some random book-a business book to his luck,and heads to the line.Nonchalantly standing behind her he wonders absently how to breech this subject that was currently pressing his mind.

She whines and lolls her head back, as one of the little old ladies starts arguing with the llibrarian about how many magazines she has, the limit being 15. "It's just one over th limit! There are plent of them!" [color=FFFFFF]"Stupid old people,"[/color[ she says under her breath, unaware of Scott being right behind her.

Rabbit has issues with everyone, almost--very old and very young. The only reason she plans on keeping..it..is because she'd need to get permission--yes, it's the law--to give it up. She can be nice if she really tries hard at it. But she can't do it all the time. She shifts impatiently.

Swallowing hard he reaches up to touch her shoulder to get her attention but in the process he drops his book.With a loud curse that gets him many disapproving looks from many people he leans down to pick up the book which had so rudely clattered to the floor and coincidentally fell atop his foot.

Rabbit just happen to glances down and see Scott as he picks up his book, sighing softly. Now she's convinced he's stalking her. Maybe if she completely ignores him...She wants to just ask him to quit following her, but doesn't really want to initiate conversation.

Scott glances down at the book and suddenly finds he has no desire to be here at this moment. With a low sigh he turns,depositing the book upon a library cart and heads out the door. He doesn`t care.Really he doesn`t.It probably meant nothing the book,she wasn't...and he wasnt.It was settled in his mind as he strode back to his pick-up.

Finally. She wants to leave as well, but she needs her book. Her father didn't get the book, and gave her a random name--she doesn't want to put her own kid through that. But at the same time she just doesn't feel like standing here any longer. She sighs and sets her book down as well, heading out.

Scott glances up from opening his truck and his gaze settles upon her.He`s almost angry but he does not know why.With a rough jerk tug of his hand the door is open and he`s inside his old green pick-up.With a slight groan the door slams shut .He leans his head against the window that connects the bed and the inside of the truck.

Rabbit heads for her own car--the really junk one, which she loves no matter how crappy it is. She sighs and rests her head on the steering wheel. How did this happen? It's all her fault--she should have known better than to get that drunk.

Closing his eyes for a moment he drags in a long breath.Shaking his head he puts his hands upon the steering wheel and shifts into gear.With that he`s out of the parking lot-well not quite,the light is red.
